Future Prescribers Workshop

Health professions students play an essential role in helping fight the opioid crisis. With funding awarded as part of Indiana University’s Grand Challenge: Responding to the Addictions Crisis, this interactive workshop leverages interprofessional education to prepare future health professionals’ to join the workforce ready to screen, recognize, and safely address opioid addiction and overdose.

Workshop participants will grow in their ability to work at both individual and system levels. Valuable community partners will attend alongside workshop participants to provide perspective as a health professional.
