Why these numbers matter
Collaboration is built through repeated exposure, shared practice, and structured interaction. This semester’s participation shows both reach (total participations) and depth (repeat engagement across departments and sessions), while maintaining strong cross-disciplinary breadth. When learners train alongside peers from other fields, they strengthen habits that matter in real settings:
Clear communication
Role clarity and respect
Team-based problem solving
Shared accountability for outcomes
Looking ahead
IU IPE will continue to use participation data to strengthen programming, expand cross-department engagement, and support learning experiences that prepare students for complex, collaborative work.Interested in integrating Collaborative Training into your program or partnering on future sessions?
