The Indiana University Interprofessional Practice and Education Center (IU IPE) promotes innovation in collaborative healthcare and teamwork. We navigate the implementation of new models of interprofessional care while monitoring their impacts on cost and quality health outcomes.

The World Health Organization (2010) defines interprofessional collaborative practice (IPCP) as “When multiple health workers from different professional backgrounds work together with patients, families, [careers], and communities to deliver the highest quality of care.”

Our work doesn’t stop in our center. Our leadership is influential in a number of other organizations and ensures we have a hand in initiatives like Project ECHO and events like Collaborating Across Borders VII
