All IU Book Read: Forum with Dr. Adam B. Hill

Nov 09, 2020

The first All IU Book Read was brought to an end with a live Zoom Q&A session on October 15. From September 14 – October 8th, students, faculty, and community partners were invited to read “Long Walk Out of the Woods: A Physician’s Story of Addiction, Depression, Hope, and Recovery” by Dr. Adam B. Hill. The goal of the read was to open conversations about substance use and mental health in a way that will be conducive to people feeling supported in their own personal journeys.

Below is a recording from the October 15th forum with Dr. Hill which was followed by a Q&A.

The first All IU Book Read is being provided by a grant from Indiana University’s Institute for Advanced Study and Office of the Bicentennial for promoting the theme of “Envisioning the Perfect Public University” with partners from the Indiana University Interprofessional Practice and Education Center and the Division of Student Affairs – Health and Wellness Promotion at IUPUI.
