The Indiana University Interprofessional Practice and Education Center (IU IPE) is focused on innovation collaborative healthcare. Navigating the development and implementation of new interprofessional care models and examining how they impact cost, care, quality, and health outcomes.

IU IPE strives to develop collaborative-minded healthcare professionals trained in evidence-based effective collaborative, and team-based care. Our work extends beyond the classroom to the practice environment, focusing on better care for patients and populations.

Comprehensive Pain Assessment Clinic

CoPAC provides a team-based approach to assessing the health, mental health, physical, social, and spiritual concerns of people living with chronic pain. Through collaborative efforts of IU IPE, IU health and social professionals schools, and using an interprofessional education and collaborative practice model, patients meet with providers and health professions students to review their goals and create a comprehensive care plan to address their needs.

Indiana University Student Outreach Clinic

The IU Student Outreach Clinic (SOC) is a free, student-run clinic providing primary care-based nursing, occupational therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, social work, and legal services for the uninsured and underserved in the Indianapolis community. The clinic’s goal is to provide an array of services to close the healthcare gap in the local community.

Well-Child and Oral Health Clinic

The Well-Child and Oral Health Clinic is an interprofessional education and collaborative practice model focusing on the pediatric population's health and oral health care. IU IPE partners with IU School of Dentistry and the IU/Methodist Family Medicine Center to provide comprehensive health and dental exams.
