The Collaborating Across Borders (CAB) VII conference will occur on October 20-23, 2019 at the J.W. Marriott in Indianapolis, IN. This year, Indiana University was selected to be the host for the international conference. CAB is a premier Canada-United States joint conference that focuses on common issues around interprofessional education and practice. The conference series was launched in 2007 and is held biannually.
IU IPE’s Associate Dean, Andrea Pfiefle, EdD, PT, FNAP, is leading the organizational efforts as the US Conference Chair. Dr. Stephen Cico, MD is IU School of Medicine’s liaison to the conference and contributes to the marketing efforts. The IU IPE Center and the Continuing Medical Education office assist in managing the logistics, collaborates with the committees, and addresses event planning needs.
The Program Committee is currently seeking proposals that explore the theme of the conference which is “Crossroads of Collaboration.” We encourage a variety of submissions in order to build a portfolio of workshops with diverse representation in topics, nationality, and institutional affiliations.
