On September 27th, the Indiana University Interprofessional Practice and Education Center is excited to host Ted Meyer, the Artists in Residence from USC Keck School of Medicine, to the Van Nuys atrium. Join us for "Genetics, Art, and Scars: A Lunch and Learn Experience."

From noon to 1 p.m., Mr. Ted Meyer will engage with students, faculty, and staff, shedding light on his collaborative work with the Keck School of Medicine, his artistic journey, and the profound impact of the patient experience on his artistry. We extend a warm invitation to all interested individuals to partake in this unique opportunity to converse with Mr. Meyer while enjoying a selection of his art. Please note that a limited number of boxed lunches will be available for attendees on a first-come, first-served basis.

This experience serves as a prelude to the grander "Voices of Healing" event at the University Library's Lilly Auditorium, starting at 4:30 p.m. This evening promises an expansive art exhibition, delectable hors d'oeuvres, and a captivating keynote presentation by Mr. Meyer. During his presentation, he will delve into the personal journey of his artistry, drawing inspiration from his experiences battling Gaucher disease during his childhood and young adulthood. Seating at the "Voices of Healing" experience is limited and registration is encouraged.
